TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER
Salary:
$60,000 - $75,000 Plus Benefits
This position consists of performing various tasks related to the management of
the Field Service Organization, help desk hardware technicians, Deployment and
Corporate Infrastructure LAN / WAN operations. This would include design
and planning of the implementation, training and continuing support of the
network of company and its' clients including, but not limited to: New Clients,
participate in a management and directing role for network planning and design,
Hardware and Software Installation & related Training. Follow-up to assure
client satisfaction and proper and full utilization of the implemented network.
Existing Clients; continuing Hardware and third party software support to ensure
that clients are properly utilizing the product and taking full advantage of its
features. Assist in the implementation and training on product upgrades
and new products. Assist company employees in carrying out tasks relating to
software, hardware, network or other needs. Provide Help Desk Hardware
Technician guidance as may be required. S chedule and coordinate client
installation and support activities. Assure Network Engineers adherence to
policies and procedures. Monitor performance metrics for the Network
Engineering department. Complete annual performance reviews. Support
and report on Field Support Technicians, Hardware Help Desk, Deployment, and
Corporate LAN / WAN Operations department. Review, approve and supervise
the approval of equipment purchasing.
Requirements:
This position
requires strong IT
management experience in a technical environment with LAN / WAN infrastructure.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and
clients. Strong LAN / WAN experience from a supervisory capacity. Estimate
work effort and resources necessary to complete product schedules. Ensure that
products are delivered on schedule.
